My Students

My students are so loving and willing to learn. They are kind to each other and willing to help one another. We have some really difficult behaviors in my classroom and a lot of students who have fallen behind with today’s new normal. Despite some of these things, my students are the most understanding and including.

My Project

These activities will mostly be used during centers and small group instruction. Having games and activities that kids love helps to keep the engagement going while also helping students foster a love and joy for reading. I hope to also give them a sense of pride in their own learning and develop student autonomy so they will take control of their own learning and feel confident in doing so. These activities will be used with my struggling readers, after school tutoring, and summer school reading interventions. This will help both my students and I.
