My Students

My students are fantastic math nerds. These students have excelled in mathematical thinking and reasoning. Most of them are preparing for college and are well on their way to Calculus. These students are ready to take on new challenges and are ready for higher level learning.

The students who will benefit from this grant will go on to become leaders in STEM fields across the board.

They are inquisitive, imaginative, and capable. These students are able to find the joy and beauty in mathematics.

My Project

The resources I have chosen will help students learn remotely as well as in person. The extra monitor will help facilitate zoom calls if/when we are learning from home. The Apple TV will be so helpful in being able to cast my iPad to my TV monitor. This helps student see exactly what I am seeing and helps them with examples, notes, and projects. The apple cord will also be helpful when plugging my iPad into the TV for students to view.

Many of the supplies I have requested are used daily when students are taking notes or doing projects.

They use the markers, colored pencils, and highlighters to enrich their notes. They make them more meaningful and creative by adding color. Because these consumable resources are depleted each year, I normally use my own money to buy them.
