My Project

Creativity allows young children, like my first graders, to think "outside the box" with no restrictions and rules. Utilizing manipulatives through free play will allow my students the opportunity to enhance their creativity and engage in group discussions and articulate conversations with their peers. Such conversations and interactions with their peers will allow them to build their social and emotional skills and become successful young learners. With the manipulatives that I am requesting, such as the LEGOs and magnetic tiles, will help to build our manipulative bins station and give them other choices compared to what they currently utilize.
