My Project

The students in our school are typical learners along side special education students. Together they make a very unique and exciting learning environment. The socio-economic piece in our community is on the lower side as most of our families struggle to make ends meet. I work hard everyday to provide activities and experiences that my students may not have access to at home so they can use their imagination to learn new things. I scaffold learning to help students build on things they already know while building confidence in themselves. The counting game, books, and manipulatives on my list will allow my students to work at their own pace, learn new things and build social skills through play based learning. The beanbag will make a comfortable learning space for students.
