My Project

My kindergarten students are a very energetic, caring and ready to learn group! We focus on academics as well as social and emotional learning. We are a group of young learners who learn best by exploring and playing with academic, literacy -based centers.

My students will utilize these literacy centers that are differentiated and modeled through play.

Students who have their own structured learning surrounded by play helps students appreciate and love their academic learning experience.

Having more varied centers with varying ability levels will help my kindergarten students be able o learn at their own pace and have fun! My students will be able to independently complete these centers with practice and this will also help their literacy abilities improve. My students will be able to learn not only the concepts provided, but extend their thinking with these interactive centers. My students love all things that are manipulative so these centers that I chose are definitely going to be used daily!
