Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school has adopted school wide D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read). My students have been enjoying these 15 minutes of D.E.A.R. However, I have noticed that they are engaged more with books from these two Authors, David Shannon and Mo Willems.

I want to provide my students with more books that they like so they can enjoy reading.

Due to these books, my students have been putting more effort into learning their letter sounds and blending so they can read the books on their own. Your donation will put big smiles on my students face and make them enjoy D.E.A.R.
