This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator, there are countless reasons why I love my students, especially those in kindergarten with an incredible capacity for growth and discovery at this crucial stage of their educational journey.

One of the most effective ways to engage young learners and facilitate their understanding of abstract concepts like mathematics and language is through hands-on experiences, and manipulatives play a very important role.

Math manipulatives serve as concrete tools for exploration and discovery.

Magnetic letters are invaluable tools for teaching early literacy skills. By arranging and rearranging these letters to form words and sentences, students can actively engage with language in a tactile and interactive way.

This hands-on approach not only reinforces number sense an letter recognition and phonemic awareness but also fosters creativity and confidence in reading and writing.
