My Project

Do you prefer sitting or standing while you work? Do you enjoy having the freedom to move around during your day? Imagine if you could collaborate with others in a comfortable space instead of being confined to a desk or table. What if you could bounce, wiggle, and freely move around, sitting on a pillow or even standing, throughout your work day? Just like you, students have their own preferences for how they learn best, and it's important to provide them with choices for a comfortable learning environment. Students also need adequate spaces to organize their materials.

In my classroom, I believe in embracing the natural energy and curiosity that students have.

They are like little movers and shakers, full of enthusiasm. It is essential to create spaces where they can be together and organized, both structured and free to explore and work collaboratively in unconventional areas within the classroom.

Over time, I have introduced various seating options such as wobble stools and pillows to encourage collaboration and movement. To enhance this experience, I plan to provide drawer systems to organize materials and stools to add comfort and functionality to the classroom. By offering a range of seating choices and organizational systems students will have the freedom to select a suitable spot for their specific tasks, empowering them to make decisions that positively impact their learning journey. These materials and spaces will not only offer my students options but also foster their ability to choose and adapt their learning environment to meet their individual needs.
