My Project

Hello, I am doing this project due to moving to a new school. We want our classroom to be bright and inviting for our students. Daily we have free reading time, and we keep our class library open at all times for any student who may finish their desk work sooner than others. The students have loved having free reading time and being able to move from their desks to the floor.

Our rugs will be used as decoration to brighten the room up and make it more welcoming to our new students.

First graders love bright colors. They will also allow us to show the students how to differentiate between center areas. When we have indoor recess on our days that the weather does not allow outside time, we separate our center areas so that the students are spread out throughout the room and are allowed more space
