Fun Flexible Seating
My students need comfy and fun flexible beanbag seating for our reading nook area.
My students are bright, inquisitive and enthusiastic. They love hands on experiences that keep them engaged and challeneged. They also enjoy being able to lead in the classroom and think outside the box. They are kind and helpful to each other and their teachers. They enjoy working in pairs and small groups to complete tasks to provide support for each other. We have a good mix of students in our class who share a love for all subjects, reading, writing, math, and science/social studies.
My students engage in Daily 5 reading centers daily. Two of the center choices for Daily 5 are Read to Self and Read to Someone. They love getting cozy and comfy on some type of fun flexible seating. Our old bean bags chairs had to be thrown away due to wear and tear. They picked out these seats because they loved how it has a high back and they can relax and enjoy their reading and learning time. These chairs would help my students focus on their reading rather than comfort and give them a specific place to go to during their Daily 5 reading centers if they choose.
