Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at my school are energetic, creative, and passionate about learning. They enjoy using hands-on materials when taking on new and innovative projects. They are very excited to be back in the classroom and are extremely motivated to undertake STEAM projects this year.

My Project

The materials will be used to encourage and motivate my students to work hard and keep their efforts high during the new year and testing season. My students earn dojo points for displaying excellent work, amazing effort, showing positive citizenship skills, and superb team working skills. When they reach a certain amount of points, they are able to trade them in for exciting rewards, such as candy and stickers. My students love collecting stickers to put on their chromebook cases (especially anime ones) and they are very motivated to earn full sized candy bars (who isn't?!).
