This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating has many benefits and will allow students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean, or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, and core strength. When I pull my small group interventions I often notice that many students struggle to stay focused and constantly want to be moving around. I believe that giving my students different options for seating will help them to be more engaged and motivated to learn while also eliminating the distraction of feeling uncomfortable in a chair that cant meet their needs.

I want to create a fun and flexible environment for my students who have a hard time controlling the wiggles and staying focused on their work.

The flexible seating products that I selected can be a good way for students to stay focused and engaged in my lessons while still being able to let out the wiggles.

I have seen how giving my students the choice of flexible seating can really improve their engagement and excitement to learn and hope that these products will help my students glow even more.
