This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are such a fun group full of energy! Not only do my students come from varying ethnic backgrounds, but also from different parts of the world! They enjoy being read to and doing math. They are real troopers navigating through this digital world as we’ve embarked on this journey of distance learning.

My students are hard-working, dedicated kids who all learn differently and at different levels.

My Project

These materials will be used to enhance my students' distance learning experience. With a second computer screen, I will be able to see my students engaged in our live sessions while I present our light and sound science lessons to them.

Being able to see my students while I present our science lessons will allow me to make personal connections with them.

I will be able to ask meaningful questions and encourage discourse. My students will be able to have a school experience they could enjoy and that's as normal as possible.
