This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This school year I have an opportunity to make 1:1 and small group reading at our school. I am very excited to work with ages 17-21 EL students on enrichment skills and I hope to accelerate their reading skills as well.
We need physical copies of reading books that are interesting and appropriate to student reading levels.
We have online books, but I think any reader knows a screen is not the same as the texture and experience of a REAL book! I want my students to be able to hold, read and learn from a hard copy book. Please help give our students the gift of true reading!
