Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need healthy snacks to remain focused and energized during the school day. A variety of snacks like these will ensure students will be successful in school because they will have brain food. These snacks will offer students a variety of snacks that will give them a bigger boost during their school day. As kindergarteners navigate new experiences and routines, it is important for them to be able to identify, express and work through their feelings, whether good, bad, big or small. These tools will help support their learning.

Snacks and social emotional tools can help fuel students to build a foundation for future academic success.

Such snacks as these, always brings a big smile to their faces. These social emotional activities will allow us as a class to talk about big feelings, ways to work through them as well as help students who are more reserved learn more privately during centers or small groups. These snacks and new activities will help me make sure my students are always full and ready to learn ell into their future years.
