Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Welcome to our school. The place where you make friends, learn social skills, and take the first step into formal education. We learn from our mistakes and celebrate accomplishments. We work together and build a school family.
Many of our students have never been in school and have never interacted in a large group of friends.
Others are excelling at a faster pace and already recognize letters and their sounds. They are all unique and learn in vastly different ways. To make a classroom successful you need the tools to give every child the opportunity to succeed.
My Project
My classroom is a place of exploration and discovery. My students experiment and play to figure out how things work. Our curriculum is STEAM based and encourages my students to obtain special skills in science and math.
With new STEAM based toys my students will be given new opportunities to play, discover, and explore.
With the legos and building sets they will be able to build, design, and be hands on as the learn. With your help I will be able to offer my students the very best so that they can be the very best, giving them a solid foundation for their elementary years to come.
