My Project

My students are eager learners who love to imagine and create! They are passionate about their learning and feel a deep sense of accomplishment when solving problems, finding answers, and discovering new things. I love being their librarian because the media center is one of the best places for students to have these types of learning experiences.

I want to give my students more inquiry based learning opportunities that allow them to explore, invent, create, and grow in their STEAM skills.

The Strawbees Inventor Kit would be the perfect tool to help them build and create! I can already think of activities and read alouds that would go perfectly with this tool. As their school librarian, I have been putting all of my media budget into building a meaningful library collection. However, in a 21st century media program, books are only one piece. It is my continuous goal to provide them with a well-rounded and complete media experience that includes a variety of learning tools. Please help my students continue to gain access to new STEAM learning opportunities with Strawbees!
