This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year I try to have snacks for my students, and it really seems to help a lot with their learning and focus. I want all students to have access to snacks even if they can't bring their own.

I work with many students that live with food insecurity and having snacks available can help.

Not all students can bring a snack to share, or even bring their own snack for recess time. Students cannot learn their best if they are focused on being hungry or what they will be eating.
