This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hunger significantly impacts students' ability to learn, especially for those from impoverished households. Students who come to school hungry face cognitive challenges, affecting their concentration, memory, and overall academic performance.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs emphasizes that basic needs, including food, must be met before individuals can focus on higher-level activities such as learning.

It is crucial to raise awareness about the adverse effects of hunger on education and encourage donations to support students in need. Donations can help provide snacks and food to students enabling them to overcome hunger barriers and engage more effectively in their learning environments.

My students are great kids. Some have had to face hardships that a kid at their age should not. Let's not let hunger be one of them. Please help me change the path and get them in school learning and improving their lives.
