Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, curious, and eager to learn, but hunger often becomes a distraction in the classroom. Many of them come to school without enough to eat, and by the middle of the day, it’s hard to focus on reading, writing, or math when their stomachs are growling. Providing snacks in the classroom will help them stay energized, engaged, and ready to learn.
With your support, I can keep a variety of healthy, kid-friendly snacks available so students can refuel during the day.
Something as simple as crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, or pretzels makes a big difference in helping them concentrate, participate, and feel cared for at school.
Snacks may seem small, but they play a huge role in ensuring that all of my students feel ready to do their best. Your donation will help level the playing field, making sure no student has to choose between learning and hunger. Together, we can fuel their minds and bodies so they can reach their fullest potential.
