My Project
I'm an educator at a Title I school, and I understand that students cannot thrive academically if their basic needs aren't met. Many of my students come from challenging backgrounds where access to regular meals and snacks is limited. I'm dedicated to ensuring that my students feel safe, included, and motivated to excel in their studies.
That's why I'm reaching out for your support to provide essential items such as snacks and prizes to enhance morale and motivation in our classroom.
These items will not only address immediate hunger but also serve as incentives to encourage student participation and engagement.
By offering snacks alongside meals, I can ensure that students have the energy and focus they need to succeed in the classroom. For many of the students, this may be their only meal of the day, and providing them with nutritious snacks can make a significant difference in their ability to concentrate and learn.
Additionally, prizes will be used to recognize and reward students for their efforts and achievements. These incentives will create a positive and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and encouraged to participate actively in their learning.
My ultimate goal is to drive students to a point where they are independent learners who are motivated to do their best simply because they care about their academic future and success. By meeting their basic needs and providing positive reinforcement, I can inspire them to reach beyond the first step of Maslow's hierarchy and strive for academic excellence.
