Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Third grade is a critical year where students transition from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." To keep my amazing students focused and engaged, our classroom needs learning essentials and an organized environment.

Some goals for this project are:

Improvement in reading By providing snacks, students will be able to focus more on their class work Able to model math and draw out complex word problems and fractions Increase pride in student work

Build collaborative community

Students will be able to design, build and improve their skills.

My students are vibrant and special. They are at the peak age for imaginative play where building blocks will instantly turn them into collaborative problem - seekers and architects.

With your support, our students will use pencils, crayons, and construction paper for daily assignments, along with building blocks for hands-on activities that make learning fun and engaging.

A new classroom rug and dry easel board will create a cozy, interactive space for small-groups reading lessons. Additionally, organization tools like ID holders, visual bulletin borders and laminating kit will help us maintain a structured environment where students work will be celebrated. Finally, daily snacks and cleaning supplies will ensure my third graders stay healthy, fueled and ready to learn every single day. Thank you for investing in our future leaders!
