My Project

My 10th grade American History students are excited to learn through hands-on, creative experiences that connect history with modern technology. While our classroom does not yet have access to a 3D printer, we are seeking filament supplies to prepare for a growing partnership with our school and community makerspace resources that allow students limited access to 3D printing opportunities.

Having filament available will ensure that students can fully participate in project-based learning experiences once printing access is scheduled.

Students will research important events, historical figures, inventions, and landmarks from American History and transform their learning into physical 3D models and artifacts. These projects will help students engage more deeply with historical content while also building STEM, design, and problem-solving skills.

By supporting this project, donors will help provide students with meaningful opportunities to combine creativity, history, and technology in ways that make learning memorable and engaging. Many of my students thrive when they can create, design, and learn through hands-on experiences, and this project will help make those opportunities possible.
