My Project

What I love most about my students is their resilience and determination. They show up every day ready to learn, even when learning isn’t easy, and life outside of school can be challenging. They support one another, ask thoughtful questions, and genuinely want to do well, especially when they feel encouraged and prepared.

The thing that will have the biggest positive influence in my classroom is an iPad.

An iPad will transform how lessons are delivered and saved. I can write/type notes in real time, project them clearly, and store them digitally for future use. This is especially helpful for students who are absent, as they can borrow the iPad to review lessons and see exactly what they missed. Also with the iPad, I can download different audio/online readings and allow students to have access to more books and literature for free reading time but also for research purposes. The iPad will be not only beneficial for my teaching, but, for my students' uses as well.

The math and writing test-preparation books will give my students structured practice and the confidence they need for SBAC testing. These resources help them understand what to expect and allow them to strengthen skills at their own pace.

The snacks will help students stay focused and energized. When students are hungry, it’s much harder to concentrate and perform at their best. Providing snacks ensures their basic needs are met so they can fully engage in learning and testing.

The headphones will give every student equal access to digital learning and testing tools. Many of my students do not have their own headphones, and having them allows students to work independently, minimize distractions, and feel confident during online assessments.

Together, these resources will help create a classroom where students feel supported, prepared, and valued.
