Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need snacks to help keep them fueled throughout the day so they are not hungry or lethargic. My students come from various home situations. Some of them arrive to school late after dropping off siblings and many arrive having missed breakfast. All students should be able to go to their classes and learn without hunger hanging over them while they are learning.

In addition to snacks, having a surplus of classroom materials including pens, highlighters, paper etc.

Lastly, I am looking to revamp my classroom decor to create spaces in the classroom to display student work in ways that allow students to view their contributions and take ownership of this space we have shared together.
