This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Healthy snacks keep their brains from getting cranky. More than once I have heard the grumbling of stomachs in my classroom. Students should be able to think about the problem solving strategies and not have their minds distracted by what their stomachs need. A few snacks while they work helps distract their minds and fuels their brains. Our newcomers will especially benefit from your contributions. Although they are provided with meals at school, they depend on those extra treats to keep them going and energized throughout the day and into the evening. Contribute to the well being of my students by helping support them with basic energy snacks. Your small kindness will do a lot for their well being emotionally and physically.

Brain food for learning!

As simple as mints to wake up the brain. Snacks are all I am asking for in this project. It may not seem like much, but a little extra energy boost goes a long way toward learning and retaining knowledge.
