My Project

My first graders are curious, energetic, and excited to learn! As their teacher, I want to create a classroom where learning feels exciting, hands-on, and rewarding. This project will provide snacks, small prizes, and engaging STEM activities that will help make our classroom a place where students are motivated to participate, take risks, and celebrate their accomplishments.

For many young students, a small snack can make a BIG difference in their ability to focus and learn throughout the school day.

Having classroom snacks available will help provide a little extra fuel when students need it.

The prizes will be used to recognize positive behavior, effort, kindness, perseverance, and academic growth. I love being able to celebrate students not just for getting the “right answer,” but for trying their best, helping a friend, or refusing to give up when something is challenging.

The STEM activities will give my students opportunities to build, create, experiment, problem-solve, and work together. First graders learn best when they can get their hands on materials and discover how things work. These activities will encourage creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and a love of learning.

With your support, my students will have more opportunities to learn, explore, create, and celebrate. These resources may seem simple, but in a first-grade classroom, they can make a meaningful difference! Thank you for helping me make learning fun, memorable, and meaningful for my students!
