Fuel Future Scientists: Build a Hands-On STEM Lab

My Project

My students are curious, resilient, and eager to learn through hands-on experiences. They ask thoughtful questions and enjoy discovering how science connects to the world around them. My goal is to create an engaging STEM classroom where every student can investigate, experiment, collaborate, and think like a scientist. With the right resources, my students will build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a lifelong love of science.

These materials will bring science to life every day.

Carolina beaker starter packs, a beaker clamp, digital scales, and portable electric burners will allow students to safely conduct investigations involving measurement, physical and chemical changes, mixtures, and data collection. Dry erase boards will help students solve STEM challenges, model scientific thinking, and share observations. Classroom headphones with microphones will support virtual labs, educational videos, digital science programs, and collaborative discussions. Student scissors will be used for engineering design challenges, building models, and interactive science notebooks, while the over-the-door organizer will keep lab materials organized and easily accessible.

To inspire curiosity, DNA neon signs and LED lighting will transform our classroom into a vibrant STEM learning space that encourages creativity and exploration. These resources will help students think critically, work collaboratively, and develop the skills needed for future success in science and beyond. Your generosity will provide more than classroom supplies—it will create meaningful learning experiences that empower every student to explore, discover, and believe in their potential as future scientists and innovators.
