This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students as if they were my own children and it breaks my heart to see some students eating, while others are hungry because they don't have a snack. Many of my students come from low-income families that can't afford to send their child to school with a snack each day.

In order for my students brains to function optimally, they need a snack to give their brain fuel.

Research shows our brain needs energy from food to learn. I would like to provide my students with a daily snack to help them stay focused and get through the day.

Together we can help fight child hunger in schools one class at a time!
