My Project
My students come to class eager to learn and engage with their peers. Their positive attitude is really impressive in light of their challenges over the past two years. This is their first year of full-time in-person learning since the 2018-2019 school year, and they are ready to take charge of their learning.
A common problem my students face is hunger.
Even with the free meals provided by the school, a lot of them end the day low on energy. This makes them reluctant to attend study hall and sometimes lethargic while they are there. Healthy snacks will help them power through.
