This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcome to our classroom, a place where laughter is the soundtrack of our day! My 20 second graders are a spirited group of budding comedians, pranksters, and artists who bring an incredible amount of joy to our school. While they are hardworking students, they are also 'squirrely' learners who thrive on movement and creativity. Currently, our rigid, hard chairs don't match their bubbly energy, and it can be a challenge for their little bodies to stay focused when they aren't comfortable. By providing flexible seating, snacks for our 'treat-loving' scholars, and the organization tools to keep our creative chaos in check, you are helping these unique individuals stay focused on what they do best: learning, growing, and making the world a bit brighter—one joke at a time!
