Fuel and Supplies for a Fresh Start to the Semester

My Project

We have had a busy first semester and are in need of restocking. We are in need of folders to keep our work in, construction paper to help with our creation of projects that go along with our SEL lessons, and snacks for students who often times come to school hungry.

Many of my students come from low-income homes and most are being raised by their grandparents who are living on a limited budget just to make ends meet.

They do not have the necessary resources to be successful and could use some support. Many times I will share my snacks and lunch (that I have brought for myself) with my students. It's hard to stay focused on the task at hand when you do not have the supplies you need or the food for fuel for our minds to be creative.

In addition, I am a new teacher and do not have the years of supplies built up for my students to use. I often will go pick up things that my class may need and pay for them personally so my students can have the things they need to be successful.

Help me provide for these students and their success!
