My Project

My students are incredible! School is hard for them but they show up ready to learn each and every day. Students come to me for additional support during their day. Often students have me part way through their morning or just before the end of the day. They are growing middle school students who need food so they can focus on their learning.

A snack resource would help ensure they have fuel to continue learning while they grow physically and academically.

Healthy snacks such as goldfish, fruit snacks, crackers, and applesauce will help ensure the food they eat is not high in sugar. It would also help me to provide an equitable opportunity for all students to have a snack, no matter what their family can, or cannot afford. The Chex cereal, pretzels, and m&m's are a way for student to practice fractions and equations by making trail mix together.
