This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Food is fuel and these sweet students need all of the fuel they can get. I am a third-grade teacher at a title 1 school. Not all students have the luxury of brining a snack with them to school each day. While the school offers free breakfast and lunch a snack is the perfect way to refuel and push through all of the content like multiplication and essay writing.

As a teacher I am constantly searching for ways to make learning more engaging, Boogie board reusable tablets are a way to do just that.

Students can jot down their thoughts and quickly share ideas with peers. In today's day and age, the students are constantly using their laptops. They crave opportunities to draw and write out their answers beyond pen and paper. After observing another student utilize this tool, I decided to seek some out for my own classroom.
