My Project

This year marked the exhilarating debut of our school's robotics team—a group of enthusiastic learners who embarked on a journey from zero robotics knowledge to becoming formidable competitors. Recruited purely based on interest, our students dove headfirst into the world of robotics. From the basics of engineering and programming to the complexities of of aero and hydrodynamics, the learning curve was steep but thrilling. Over the course of the school year, stretching from August to May, our team participated in six competitions, demonstrating relentless dedication and growing expertise.

Our achievements speak volumes about our progress and potential.

Not only did our team clinch a top spot in a prestigious drone competition, but one of our students also earned the honor of being selected by the Navy for a summer program at the Naval Academy for the submersible robot competition—a testament to their outstanding potential and our program's impact. Additionally, we celebrated victories in two competitions focused on autonomous vehicle coding, showcasing our students’ prowess in both strategy and programming, placing third in one competition and first in the other. Beyond these accolades, the real victory was the camaraderie and fun we shared, crafting not just circuits and codes but also lifelong memories and skills.

Now, as we aim to build on this momentum, we seek support to furnish our workspace with essential tools and storage, specifically, we wish to once again compete in the Vex and Best Robotics competitions next year, this time properly equipped. Furthermore, the compressor, shelving units, and other resources will not only help organize our equipment but also ensure that our team continues to grow, innovate, and inspire. Join us in fostering the next generation of engineers and innovators by supporting our project. Together, we can make the next chapter of our journey even more successful.
