From Quiet to Confident: Let’s Amplify Our Classroom Voices

My Project

In my classroom, discussions are a huge part of learning. Whether we are analyzing a story, explaining our math thinking, or sharing reflections during morning meeting, I want every student's voice to be heard. The truth is, some of my students speak softly or hesitate to participate because they are afraid of being wrong or overlooked. The Qball throwable microphone system will help change that. It turns speaking into a hands-on, exciting experience by letting students toss and catch the microphone during lessons, making communication both fun and empowering.

This project will help every student feel confident, engaged, and valued.

The Qball encourages participation from even the quietest learners by giving them a moment to shine when they hold the mic. It also improves sound quality for the whole class, ensuring that every answer, question, or idea is clearly heard. My goal is to create a classroom where no voice goes unnoticed and every student learns the power of speaking up.

My students are a creative and caring group who thrive when learning feels interactive and meaningful. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique stories, talents, and perspectives to our classroom community. This project will give them more than just a microphone; it will give them confidence, connection, and a reason to believe that their voices matter.
