My Project

My second-grade students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. They come to school each day excited to explore new ideas, work with their classmates, and do their best. I love watching their confidence grow as they master new skills, ask thoughtful questions, and celebrate one another's successes. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a classroom that is well-equipped with the basic supplies they need to thrive.

The resources in this project will make a meaningful difference in our classroom every day.

Pencils and a reliable pencil sharpener will ensure students are always ready to write, solve math problems, and complete assignments without interruption. Glue sticks, scissors, and construction paper will support hands-on learning activities that encourage creativity while reinforcing reading, writing, science, and social studies concepts.

Chair pockets will help students stay organized by keeping their books and materials within easy reach, maximizing instructional time and promoting responsibility. Homework and graded work folders will provide an organized way for students to transport important papers between school and home, strengthening communication with families and helping students develop organizational skills.

These everyday classroom essentials may seem small, but they have a tremendous impact on student learning. By supporting this project, you are helping create a classroom where every second grader has the tools they need to participate fully, stay organized, and build confidence throughout the school year.
