My Project

My third graders learn from home, but they deserve the same clear, hands-on instruction they would receive sitting in a classroom. In our virtual classroom, we learn together every day through live Zoom lessons. My students are curious, enthusiastic learners who benefit from seeing concepts modeled step by step—whether we are solving a math problem, examining a text, or working with hands-on materials.

The ELMO TT-12W document camera will bring my teaching desk directly to my students’ screens, giving every child a front-row seat to learning.

Instead of relying only on digital slides, I will be able to write, draw, model math strategies, annotate texts, demonstrate manipulatives, and work through problems naturally while my students follow along from home. Its stable classroom design and clear video will allow students to focus on the learning rather than struggling to see what I am demonstrating.

My goal is to make virtual instruction feel more immediate, interactive, and connected. A document camera will allow me to model the thinking and problem-solving process in real time and then invite students to try the same strategies alongside me. With this technology, the distance between my students and me becomes a little smaller—and our virtual classroom becomes a place where students can truly see it, learn it, and do it.
