Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This grant proposal seeks funding to implement a reading classroom organization system that promotes student focus, engagement, and a love of learning. Our program centers around three key elements:

Color-Coded Class Differentiation: By assigning each class a distinct color, we will create a visual system that aids students in organization.

This will involve color-coded folders, notebooks, and potentially even classroom decorations to reinforce the association.

Interactive Whiteboards for Collaborative Learning: We propose replacing traditional worksheets with interactive whiteboard activities. This will streamline the lesson process, reduce paper waste, and allow for dynamic in-class collaboration. Students can engage with the material directly on the whiteboard, fostering a more engaging learning experience.

Clipboards for Hands-On Activities: Clipboards will provide students with a sturdy and portable platform for interactive activities. This eliminates the need for loose papers that can easily become disorganized or lost during movement around the classroom.
