My Students

Our students come from the vibrant community of Brooklyn, New York. They are thoughtful, imaginative, ambitious and driven to succeed. Being that most of them were born and raised in Brooklyn, many of them have never spent time enjoying nature.

It is our goal to provide an enriching experience for our students where they get to enjoy the benefits of submerging themselves in nature, learn leadership skills, and build strong connections with their peers.

My Project

An opportunity to interact with the outdoors, spend time learning about peers, going on hikes and exploring nature...these are experiences that our students will be enjoying this April when they attend this year’s camping trip.

For our students, the simplicity of nature provides a different outlook on the world , encouraging students to improve upon their peer relationships.

Through this experience, students will take risks, encourage each other, and be better friends because of it.

For those who donated last year, you already know what an incredibly life-changing experience our students had. We know this year will be no different!
