My Project

My students are learning about area and volume. I created an activity to give them project-based learning related to real life. The students will be city planners and build a miniature layout for a new school building and community center for afterschool programs.

The need for these supplies is paramount for my students' ability to build, design, and reimagine solutions to tomorrow's problems under STEM/ STEAM integration!

The protractors, Play-Doh, scissors, and construction paper will be used in the classroom to target flexible learning styles and abilities necessary for equitable learning. Using STEM/ STEAM education, students are taught various skills they can apply in the real world and thus are motivated to learn more! Applying their knowledge allows them to impact their communities and their loved ones positively!
