All different ethnicities make up our school and we are proud to be a strong community school. One hundred percent of our students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch. We have a mixture of English Language Learners throughout the school.
The students take pride in their school and the teachers and staff who work there.
Our school does its best to support our students. We are a well-crafted school that wants to ensure students are receiving a well-rounded education, as well as builds relationships and everlasting characteristics that will shape who they are and prepares them for their future. These students need some tender love and care, and we are proud to provide that support.
Every year, the students dive into our reading curriculum to learn all about frogs. This module combines both science with reading. The students absolutely love it. In this unit, the students talk about the various habitats of frogs and adaptations of each frog. At the end of our reading module on frogs, the students get to create a frog diorama.
We want to incorporate the many learning styles that make up our class.
This project will help support my third grade team in creating these frogs diorama. Our students families come in and help their child and our students gets to teach the families all they learned about frogs.
The project includes materials such as moss and sticks, to depicts the bayou of one of the frog habitats. We also requested rocks and blue glitter glue to add to the water. But most importantly, we asked for frogs to add to our diorama.
