Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The pencil boxes will be used for each class to have a set of pencils just for them to use. This will help them keep track of their pencils and hopefully make it to the end of the great pencil challenge! The file folders will help the students keep their artwork organized and easy to pass out. The washi tape will make everything beautiful!

As an art classroom, everything is organized by colors so all of these supplies just need room numbers added to them and they are ready to go! My students love that they have "a color" when they come into the class. They remember year to year which ones they get to use, some ask to be moved so they can try and hit every color before they move up!
