My Project

This project is a cross curricular unit where students will test local fresh and salt waters and determine the impact that streams have within the ecosystem. In this fun project, students will apply scientific practices in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Geography while also engaging in critical thinking.

My goal for this project is to bring the learning outdoors where students can apply the various concepts learned in the classroom to their community.

This project takes the worksheets and concepts outdoors so the learning is done in a more practical and applicable way, ultimately helping students identify their identity in science.
