This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a diverse community, and from all economic backgrounds. Many lack basic resources to walk through the classroom door ready to learn without having to worry about other issues like lack of proper care.

Hygiene products allow a child to meet their basic needs and not have to worry about what other students may think, and to focus on learning.

Even when other students may not make comments about these things, our kids think about them and worry. Taking this anxiety away allows them to concentrate on learning and obtaining the best education they can.
