This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a current 4th-grade teacher who took over a class in the middle of the year. My students' former teacher took a lot of her supplies and materials with her leaving a bit of a mess for my students. They are already dealing with the transition of having a new teacher in the middle of the year and I am hoping some new furniture and classroom organization supplies will help make this transition easier.

Their previous teacher left and there is not a lot of place for my students' materials.

I want to give them a welcoming and warm classroom that is inviting and makes them want to be at school.
