This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students work tirelessly despite the challenges we have faced in our district. For the past couple of years, we have struggled to keep our classroom organized and clean to provide a smooth learning environment for my students. Floor tiles are covered with visible dirt and grime, we do not have an air purifier, and our floors and desk surfaces do not get swept or wiped down. Therefore, our class desperately needs materials such as a Swiffer, file folders, and a fresh new rug to help keep our classroom clean.

Adding these items and more will help bring our classroom back to life and make a safe space to brighten and clean up the student's workspace.
