My Students

My students are some of the most fun loving and excited learners you will encounter. They come from a variety of backgrounds and sometimes face unbelievable hardships, yet they keep a resilient spirit that motivates me as their teacher. I love to see their passion and growth throughout the year.

My students are captivated by learning about math that occurs all around them, reading diverse books and understanding how their positive thinking will push them forward.

We enjoy having fun in class while extending our knowledge and understanding. Fourth grade can be a challenging year, where social changes happen and anxiety can start to develop. Throughout the year we develop a community where my students feel safe and secure. We make sure that every student who enters my classroom feels welcomed and loved.

My Project

These drawers will help my students stay organized by having a spot to put their workbooks and textbooks. This will enable my students to have more space in their desks and reduce the destruction to the books.

My students will feel in charge of their space and the freedom to store their items in their desk without the clutter of their big books.

Throughout the year I have heard my students say that they do not have enough room in their desks for their binders or other important materials. By freeing up more space, it will enable the students to put what they need to in their desks. There will not be any more bent and ripped pages in their books!
