FRC Rookie Team In Need of Organization

My Students

Our students on FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) this year come from a range of diverse backgrounds and household incomes. Our students have shown a passion for project-based learning and STEM. Many of our students plan to go to college and major in STEM areas.

Since the announcement of creating a team, only the 2nd team in all of Chesterfield, VA, we have had over 100 students signing up to participate with our team.

We plan to not turn any students away and will be composed of students from 11 different high schools from Chesterfield, VA.

To continue to excite students about STEM, FRC will allow them to compete worldwide and earn scholarship money for college.

My Project

My rookie team for FRC needs organizational help to ensure they are working safely and in an organized manner. With this being our first year, we started the season with very little lab organization equipment.

With these organizational items, we can ensure that the team is working safely and efficiently at all times this season.

In order to continue as a team, we must work within OSHA guidelines and ensure that our workplace is safe for all that enter and work in. In addition, with this organization, we can ensure we never order items that we have already in the lab.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
