My classroom is a blended environment consisting of students from every Chesterfield County VA Public School. Many of the students in my program are students enrolled in one of the many amazing programs at the Chesterfield Technical Center at Hull. Membership to my program is open to any CCPS high school student and even some 8th graders. My classroom and program are all about inspiring students to pursue careers in STEM fields immediately after high school, or after college. I believe in eliminating barriers for entry for students that are trying to learn. I work with any student that wants to participate regardless of whatever other extra curriculars and teams they are a part of. My students participate in a number of robotics organizations to include FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Lego League, Seapearch, and VEX Robotics. Students qualify for up to $80M in scholarships.
